At Freedom Youth Foundation (FYF), our mission is to empower foster youth by providing them with the tools, skills, and support they need to build successful futures.Founded from the inspiration of a peace camp in Novi Sad, Serbia, FYF was established in November 2011 with a vision to create lasting change in the lives of young people. Our multifaceted approach includes sports clinics, financial literacy education, mentorship, and employment training, all aimed at fostering personal and professional growth.We harness the universal language of athletics to teach essential life skills such as accountability, leadership, and teamwork. Our programs are designed to engage and inspire youth, leveraging the power of sports as a cost-effective and impactful tool for development.Financial literacy and employment training are critical components of our mission. We prepare foster youth for the crucial transition to independence by equipping them with knowledge about personal finance and providing support through resume writing assistance and mock interviews to secure job placements.At FYF, we are dedicated to not only preparing foster youth for the future but ensuring they thrive. We are committed to offering hope and opportunity where it’s needed most, making a significant impact through our comprehensive programs and initiatives.
