To my dearest supporters,An amazing big shout out "Thank You" to all of you who came out last year to the Comox Valley to share this special moment with Paul and I.Last year, we were thrilled to have been named Honourees for the 2023 Comox Valley Walk for Alzheimer's.If you missed out story, it can be found on the Alzheimer's website or just Google these three words Bev White DementiaThis year, our team, "Just a Walkin and Talkin", will be participating again in the walk on Sunday, May 26, at 10.00 am at the Courtenay Recreation Lewis Centre, 489 Old Island Hwy, Courtenay.Last year our team raised over $22,000 and encouraged over 100 people to come out and walk.Please consider joining our team again this year, help out wherever, spread the word about dementia and where you can, please make a donation no matter how big or small.The more we talk about ourselves, the more we realize how dementia has affected everyone in our lives.We invite you to join us in this important event by registering to walk in honour of someone close who has been affected by dementia.Our goal is to increase awareness surrounding dementia and raise vital funds to create change for people affected by dementia.You can come along and do the walk for free as there is no requirement to donate, but you do need to register.However, should you wish to donate, please follow the links at the bottom of the page.We appreciate your commitment and support, and we thank you for being there for our family and for your family.Please come walk with us again this year on Sunday, May 26th.We thank you for your continued supportSincerely, Bev White and Paul Atterton Team, Captains "Just a Walkin and Talkin"ps.
