About

Ryan White Services and Resources (RWSR) is a division of the New Orleans Health Department that funds community-based organizations, hospitals, clinics and other partners to provide a comprehensive HIV system of care in the New Orleans metro area.RWSR receives federal funds to provide primary medical care, medications and essential support services for people living with HIV who are uninsured or underinsured. The funds are intended to improve access to and maintenance in care to improve health outcomes, achieve an undetectable viral load, and prevent new cases of HIV. PLWH with Undetectable viral loads cannot transmit HIV to another person.RWSR serves eligible residents of the following eight parishes: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, and St. Tammany.
