Sweet P’s RVA is an upscale American restaurant located at 304 W Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia’s historic Jackson Ward neighborhood. Co-owned by Antonio Owen and Maria Brown, the restaurant offers a warm, inclusive dining experience that blends comfort with culinary sophistication.The menu features made-from-scratch dishes crafted with wholesome ingredients and bold flavors. Guests can enjoy a variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free selections, such as hot-honey Brussels sprouts, braised short ribs, vegan oyster mushroom piccata, and a gluten-free banana pudding roll. (Menus are seasonal)Chef AntyO's culinary journey began after serving in the military, leading him to attend culinary school and work in esteemed kitchens like Le Cirque in New York City. He returned to Richmond to open Sweet P’s, named in honor of his late mother, Paulette, whose nickname was “Sweet P.” Her memory is celebrated throughout the restaurant, including butterfly motifs on the walls.In addition to its diverse menu, Sweet P’s offers a curated cocktail program and hosts events like “Whitney Wednesdays,” featuring music and dishes inspired by Whitney Houston.
