Jennifer Bullen is the founder and creator of Rising Strong Wellness. When the body can be given a voice to express the stories that it holds, healing comes rushing in! Jen knows and believes that by creating intentional opportunities to invite the body into healing, you will witness powerful results of walking into their wholeness.Jen approaches working with the body through a trauma informed lens and finds deep joy as others reclaim their power!Jen believes that the body has witnessed all of our experiences and holds the stories of our life. Through connecting with the body we can learn how to support ourselves in a long lasting, deeper way.Jen is a somatic healing coach who works with those who are surviving and overcoming trauma to move into healing and wholeness. Her deepest commitment is to empower, inspire and allow you a brave space for healing.Somatic work gets to the core. Instead of talking our way through an issue we focus on the body and feeling through it.By utilizing courage, curiosity and compassion you'll be invited to meet yourself where you are. You'll receive tools and support to work with what is present in your life.Jen is trained in and utilizes many different modalities such as trauma sensitive yoga, dance and art. She also loves helping others connect to Nature.Why use holistic health counseling to support your mental health?Supporting your physical health and the health of your nervous system deeply impacts your state. These practices also compliment our connection to our body! Jen is a strong advocate for living to the fullest in your body AS IS. You’ll find her anti diet culture approach to health refreshing.Ayurveda pronounced AYE-YOUR-VAY-DA comes from the word combination ayur (life) and veda (knowledge). It's a back to basics approach to living. It invites us to reconnect with the cycles that Nature teaches us and reflects within us. This work is a road map to the home of your body.⁠Holistic health support looks at: your overall state, your stress, your digestion, your sleep, your hormones and your life. Who are you as an entire human? How is life feeling currently in your body and how is it impacting how you are living your life?Jen specializes in those overcoming and surviving trauma, body image, disordered eating and movement patterns.
