WallACE is the organizer and founder of a 501c3, non-profit, faith-based organization, Health & Awareness, which serves seniors and the unfortunate community. While spending eight years on dialysis, he advocated with the American Kidney Fund, the National Kidney Foundation, Dialysis Patients Citizens, Sickle Cell Association, and American Diabetes Association. He started the prevention of kidney disease at a people-to-people level in 2009 based on basic information that everyone could understand. Educating individuals with this approach helped individuals communicate better with their medical professionals and understand the importance of taking an active role in their healthcare early. Raising awareness of chronic kidney disease symptoms and reading lab test results at an early stage increases prevention. While waiting for a kidney transplant, he served as an advocate with Donate Life Virginia and LifeNet Health. Health & Awareness hosts three events each year: World Kidney Day, Bowl 4 Kidneys & Organ Donation, and the popular Family Caregiver program. In addition, he answers the call and participates in an average of 41 community health fairs, health expos, and speaking requests.
