The Northern Utah Division of the NMRA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to Fun, Learning, and Fellowship. Model Railroading is fun for the whole family and we strive to provide activities that encourage families to have fun. These include an annual train show, layout tours and monthly events, not to mention we hosted the National Model Railroad Association Convention in 2019. We champion learning by providing clinics/classes on all aspects of modal railroading including: benchwork, wiring, scenery, maintenance, history, building structures (Kits, kit bashing, and scratch building), and photography at all levels from basic beginner to advanced. We promote Fellowship, by meeting regularly for our monthly events, fielding construction crews that go to members layouts and help them build, maintain, and run their railroad empires. We have enthusiasts representing all scalesof model railroads from tiny Z-Scale up to and including 1:1 real deals, so if you are into model trains, you will not be left out in the cold.
