The Theta Theta Sigma Alumnae Chapter is a non-profit organization chartered in 1996 in Huntsville, AL.Sigma Gamma Rho is a national collegiate Sorority incorporated in 1922. The dynamic women of Sigma Gamma Rho have built and sustained a well-known and highly respected reputation for leading positive change. We currently have more than 500 chapters in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are the hallmark of the organization’s programs and activities. Sigma Gamma Rho addresses concerns that impact society educationally, civically and economically.Our chapter’s goals are to function on the principles of sisterhood, scholarship and service which represent the core of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. We operate on a foundation of integrity, honesty and respect.Our chapter’s mission is to enhance the quality of life within our local community. We strive to promote Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. through sisterhood, educational development and community advocacy. We achieve these goals by maintaining a spirit and standard of excellence.Our ultimate goals are to address concerns that impact our society politically, civically and economically. We will represent Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. by exemplifying the highest ethical conduct as dedicated professionals and dynamic leaders of the future.
