Our goalVeteran’s Time to Thrive, Inc. is developing a unique residential-commercial housing project. This development will provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to Military Veteran families, and in addition those who are currently serving in the military including the National Guard and Reserves. These brave men and women have all served us, now it is time for us to serve them by providing them an opportunity to thrive. This first of it's kind housing development will empower military families and at the same time breathe life into a City we truly love - #AmsterdamRisingOur Core ValuesVeteran’s Time To Thrive will always exhibit the Honor to do what is right for our veterans. Our team will have the Courage to accept any setback, learn from all mistakes, and ALWAYS continue to strive for excellence. Veteran’s Time To Thrive will have the Commitment to see this project through, to the end; just like our military men and women do while serving our great country, we will continue to press forward until we are no longer physically able to do so. Veteran’s Time To Thrive will always maintain the Integrity of using 100% of the donations, grants, and loans received towards completing this housing development for our veterans in Amsterdam, New York.Our visionWe will empower all military families and at the same time breathe life into a City we truly love - Amsterdam. We envision area graduates who joined the military and completed their commitment, wanting to come back home with their families and continue to thrive here. This project can be “Ground Zero” for a positive impact throughout Amsterdam. Everyone who drives through the East end, “The Gateway of our City”, will see a vibrant growing community with this gorgeous building. They will feel all this positive energy and want it in their neighborhood. You combine this project with all the other great things happening to downtown Amsterdam, and the energy going throughout this city will be electric.Our missionBy creating this unique, first of its kind housing development for our military veterans, we will create the support system they had when they served. These families will be able to support each other in a way the general population cannot. Constructing a housing development with military personnel in mind, we can disrupt the cycle of suicides, divorces, addictions, and other post military service problems we see throughout our military regardless of status. More importantly once again these men and women can combine their gifts and talents helping each other thrive and succeed in the community. Once they start succeeding, they will start bringing the community up with them. As the community prospers it will become alive and all the families in the area will start to feel empowered, and it will start a ripple effect from there.Veteran’s Time To Thrive is a 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible.
