The Rusk-Panola Children's Advocacy Center was established 25 years ago because our community felt there was a better way to intervene with children and families who were impacted by abuse. We work together with professionals from other child- focused agencies in providing a coordinated effort to diminish trauma and improve outcomes to all victims of child abuse coming to our facility. Our mission is to provide trauma informed services to children affected by abuse in order for them to recapture the joys of a violence-free childhood. We have a staff of family advocates, forensic interviewers, therapists, and nurses, all dedicated to helping children and their families recover from abuse.
