Gwendolyn D. BryantCertified Life and Grief Coach | Healthcare Advocate | Author | Founder of A Touch of ClarityGwendolyn Bryant began her healthcare journey as a Nursing Assistant, earning her certification from Jones College in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the course of more than 25 years, she built a diverse and fulfilling career in the healthcare field, serving in various roles. Expanding her expertise to the administrative side, she graduated from the Washington School for Secretaries in Washington, D.C., where she honed her organizational and leadership skills.In 2018, Gwendolyn stepped away from her medical career to take on the role of caregiver for her daughter, Tiffany, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 32. Following Tiffany’s passing, Gwendolyn found a renewed purpose in transforming her grief into action. She earned her Life Coach Certification from the Orange County Life Coach Institute and became a Grief Coach, using her personal experience to help others navigate the challenges of loss and healing.Gwendolyn is also an ambassador for Fight CRC (Colorectal Cancer), where she raises awareness about colorectal cancer and advocates for prevention and education. In memory of her daughter, and along with her husband Douglas, they begin "A Touch of Clarity", a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading awareness that colon cancer is not just an “old person’s disease.” Through this initiative, Gwendolyn and her team provide educational materials, support individuals undergoing chemotherapy with comfort baskets, and share resources for free colonoscopy vouchers.In addition to her advocacy work, Gwendolyn is the accomplished author of Responding to My Enemies, a heartfelt book that explores the power of forgiveness and the healing it brings.Gwendolyn’s journey is one of resilience, compassion, and faith. Through her work and her writing, she honors her daughter’s memory by empowering others to live with clarity, hope, and purpose.
