The Wren’s Nest is the historic home of author, journalist, and folklorist Joel Chandler Harris, best known as the recorder of the Brer Rabbit folktales. Designated as a National Historic Landmark, The Wren’s Nest is Atlanta’s oldest house museum and a cultural center that preserves the art of African, African American, and indigenous oral storytelling traditions.
