I began my yoga journey when I was 23 in Hong Kong, trying to find greater work life balance. As an interior designer meant long hours at the desk and I would often forget to prioritize my body and eat badly as ways of managing stress. I found comfort on the mat to reset mentally and dedicate time to my well being. I was not flexible when I was young and use to lose confidence in my stiffness to continue. However I have learnt like everything in life that believing in yourself and dedication can lead to great places.Yoga brought a lot of happiness to our family as we would often go during weekends together. It was truly inspiring seeing yoga as a form of therapy first hand in the health benefits and confidence it brought to my mum after surviving breast cancer. The physical and mental growth led to a more fulfilling lifestyle and mindful diet. We found comfort in the mat through hardships and this inspired me to take on the teaching journey to share these beautiful rewards with others.​I want to share this same joy to those around me and the journey of discovery and learning through practice. I took on kids yoga because I wanted to open class for families and create an inclusive community for everyone. I also believe that we can start our yoga journey at any stage in our lives, to enjoy all the benefits of resilience, calming ourselves through challenging times and enable authentic engagement and action among many others.​The name Lunar is inspired by the many phases of the moon, like the many versions of ourselves through life we learn to acknowledge, love and nurture.
