The AFCEA, Huntsville Chapter has members spread across government, industry and academia. Our events provide well attended forums for government, industry and academic partners to network and exchange ideas and information. Our events include luncheons and special topic symposiums. Luncheons are open to the public and focus on communications, electronics, signal processing and cyber technical subjects related to the Defense, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the FBI and Home Land Defense activities performed on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama and the North Alabama and South Tennessee area. Our symposiums are usually co-sponsored with other non-profit organizations such as the Association of Old Crows, the Air Force Association Huntsville and the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems (AUVSI), Pathfinder Chapter, and GEOHuntsville. Our symposiums are usually classified and limit attendance to U.S. citizens with appropriate security clearances.AFCEA Huntsville is organized as non-profit organization and files annual Tax Returns with the IRS. The funds we raise are used for operational expenses, to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities of local schools and universities and college scholarships leading to STEM related careers. We actively seek donations from organizations and individuals to support the activities of the Chapter.
