Como No is the Forefront of Latin Music in the UK since the 1980s . Bringing the vibrant sounds of Latin America to stages across London and beyond. From intimate gigs to legendary nights at The Jazz Café, Village Underground, Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, and even The O2 Arena, we’ve been defining Latin music for generations—connecting artists with the ever-growing Latin American community and fans of Spanish and Portuguese sounds. We’ve had the honor of presenting icons like Celia Cruz, Gilberto Gil, Buena Vista Social Club, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, as well as showcasing groundbreaking artists like Natalia Lafourcade and Seu Jorge. Since 2001, we’ve been the driving force behind La Linea – London’s Latin Music Festival, a platform for game-changing debuts and innovative projects that have shaped the Latin music scene in the UK.Beyond live shows, we push the boundaries of Latin music with bold collaborations and fresh concepts. From Mexrrissey, which reimagined The Smiths through a Mexican lens and toured worldwide, to jazz legend Tino Contreras’ unforgettable final performance at Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul—live-streamed globally during lockdown. We also played a key role in shaping the UK Latin big band New Regency Orchestra, redefining what Latin jazz can be.For over a century, Latin America and the UK have shared a musical connection, and we’re here to strengthen it. We champion Latin creativity in London and continue to be one of England’s leading music promoters.Since April 2023, Como No has been proud to be a National Portfolio Organisation supported by Arts Council England. As we transition into a Not-for-Profit organisation, our mission has evolved to be more inclusive and community-focused than ever before. We recognise the importance of the people who have supported us over the years—the fans, the artists, and the Latin community that surrounds us. Now, as a Not-for-Profit, we want to give back by creating even more space for the voices of our community.
