Join Ali Burns and Jennie Fisk for a blast of joyful singing in the beautiful town of Hebden Bridge, in the historic Birchcliffe Chapel.
Based on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Ali Burns is one of the UK’s most respected songwriters for community choirs. Her songs have simple, profound text and are easy enough to learn by ear but still satisfying and special to sing and make great performance pieces. Set in stunning scenery, the Pennines market town of Hebden Bridge has a growing reputation for its great pubs and independent shops, and as the unforgettable backdrop to the 'Happy Valley' TV series. Hebden Bridge has a thriving arts community.
The Venue
The 2-day workshop will take place at the Birchcliffe Centre, Birchcliffe Road, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 8DG. The Chapel is ten minutes walking distance above the town in a peaceful woodland setting, nestled into the hillside and part of the historic Birchcliffe Centre.

Please follow this pindrop. From Hebden Bridge town centre, walk or drive up Birchcliffe Road and immediately after Birchcliffe Chapel turn left into Highfield. If walking, walk up Highfield, and follow the path down to the Birchcliffe Centre on your left. If driving park in the Upper Car Park and follow one of the paths down to the back of the former Chapel.
Access Parking is on the Lower Car Park with step free access directly down to the Hostel (please request a space when booking)
Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
