Rick Danzey, KK6AIZ is an amateur radio enthusiast with an Amateur General license and is registered as a Volunteer Examiner (VE). He has been teaching Technician test preparation classes since 2013 with a successful passing rate of 98%. His unique style reaches out to all participants, assisting them to learn not only the test materials but gain an understanding of Amateur Radio. Due to his enthusiastic approach he has taught throughout many San Bernardino County departments, helping them fulfill their obligation to have licensed amateur radio operators in each department. In addition to the County, Rick also teaches classes on behalf of the local communities and support the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in various locales.Rick's commitment to Amateur Radio extends beyond teaching classes. He is currenty a member of the San Bernardino County Emergency Communications Service where he serves as the Operations Chief and classroom instructor.
