Madam Camille has been a lifelong Bel Canto singer and has been teaching students for over 20 years. A second-generation student of the world-renowned Bel Canto teacher Enrico Rosati, Camille studied extensively under Josephine Convy, an East Coast opera singer who directly trained with Rosati. Camille has performed opera, classical, contemporary, and jazz music in Boston, San Francisco, and the Seattle areas.~~~In addition to her performance career, Camille has founded and directed several performing choirs, including Bel Canto Voices and Voices in Motion. She also produced and published her own album, Hope is the Thing With Feathers, which features original songs composed from Emily Dickinson poems. Camille co-founded the Voices of the Void acoustic project and YouTube Channel and partnered with concert pianist Elissa Hust to co-found Camille Classics.~~~The Bel Canto singing technique, perfected by the late 19th century, has been a foundational vocal method for centuries. It unlocks the full potential of the human voice and can be applied across all genres of singing, offering freedom, power, and control. Camille believes every singer, no matter their chosen genre, should have a base of classical training to enhance their agility, range, and vocal technique.
