Angels' Closet Charities is a wholly volunteer run, nonprofit service organization based on Redlands, CA whose mission is to serve middle school and high school students in need who are enrolled in school in Redlands, San Bernardino and surrounding areas. We serve an average of 350-400 students per year by providing them with every day school clothing, personal care and grooming items, formal attire for school social events, and business attire for job seeking opportunities. The students we serve come from a variety of challenging circumstances including families struggling financially, single parent homes, children who are main caregivers for a sick parent/grandparent, homeless families, homeless students living in shelters or couch hopping, grandparents raising grandchildren and foster children. By providing this service free of charge in a secure and nurturing environment Angels' Closet seeks to boost the self-esteem and social confidence of at risk and in need youth.
