"One Life Must ArtOriginally Gregory and his family were from the island of Dominica, located in the West Indies.Gregory has been working with different mediums and materials to create art since he was a child. His Father was a carpenter and his mother a schoolteacher, which gave him the desire to learn and the ability to build functional non abstract art. He was always interested in artwork, anatomical, mechanical structures, Dinosaur animation in stop motion, and cartoon animation. He started designing with Lego bricks, then to clay and cardboard. At seven years of age, he became fascinated with the mysteries of science, including Paleontology, with dinosaurs and these creatures made him pursue learning about dinosaurs. He also put his trust in Jesus and learned about the magnificent power of God’s creation and then he sought to understand when did GOD create the dinosaurs? Job 40:15 says It was on the sixth day of creation that God made dinosaurs and humans. This interest led him to study all sciences, including biology, earth science, physics, veterinarian science and later medical sciences where he desired to go into medical missionary doctor work.Gregory pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies, Event Planning, and Art at Tennessee Temple University. After college Gregory met his wife, Amy, and quickly learned through self-teaching how to use Blender Animation 3D software to make virtual structures and digital objects for videos. He made many animations for companies and projects for many years until he grew tired of the world of 3D Art behind the 2D computer screen. He continued on and learned how to 3D print objects and make digital objects physical using a 3d Printer.Gregory became self-employed under the Business Name “Gregory Valentine Connections” Where he made many connections and used Ebay and Amazon to work consignment and sell Antiques on the internet. Art has encouraged Greg and his family to continue to be vigilant in art creation and production and work despite the then encroaching Pandemic of 2020.It was shortly after 2019 that he learned how to make and structure using simple yet very dynamic Masking tape Sculptures. He learned from an artist named Marco Makes. He taught Greg about dynamic dinosaur Sculpting in masking tape, before sealing it in epoxy clay and resins. From there Greg took up the mantle and went in a different direction and now He can make any biological organism which includes humans, animals, dinosaurs, monsters, Cartoon characters, people, dragons, Aliens, even non-biological robots and ships. Since 2019 Gregory has made over 1000 sculptures and art works for study, sale and for smiles.Greg learned a new art medium that would help people to not become distressed despite the fear. It was lightweight and durable. It was Masking tape art.He was a vendor in 2021 and 2022 International Night Markets . The NY Grand Bazaar , where he sold many original works as well as many in sales and commissions. He has taught his family to make this sculpture practice. This artwork has brought encouragement and hope to an often-scary world of strangers. It has made strangers come near and become friends. Greg’s desire is for creative expression of art to first give glory to God like the Artworks of the Renaissance painters did and second to bring encouragement to humanity.Gregory Valentine is 44 years old and currently lives in Queens New York with his wife and Four Children."
