Object-based learning (OBL) with the Chau Chak Wing Museum and collections is facilitated by Academic Engagement Curators, Dr Eve Guerry and Jane Thogersen. Providing access to the collections for object-based learning experiences in specialised museum learning spaces, they also work with academics to embed curated collection items into courses and research projects to create impactful learning experiences and assessment tasks. The Academic Engagement program at the Chau Chak Wing Museum is for all disciplines across campus; both new users and those with existing museum relationships. The program aims to support and develop interdisciplinary learning and research whilst adding a deep learning experience to student engagement within the Museum.
