The Art Beyond Border Initiative (ABBI) is a platform dedicated to fostering inclusive art communication and distribution across the globe. Guided by the belief that art, culture, and music should transcend boundaries, ABBI seeks to introduce audiences to diverse artistic expressions, starting from Oxford and the Pan-London area and expanding as the platform grows. Our vision, encapsulated in the slogan “Art Beyond Borders; Futures Without Frames,” reflects our commitment to breaking cultural barriers through creative exchange.ABBI aims to introduce art forms that may be lesser known in the West, fostering deeper intercultural understanding. The journey begins with musicians performing Chinese art songs, Indian Raags, Arabic melodies, Indonesian piano pieces, and indigenous instruments like the Gamelan. Over time, ABBI aims to grow into a broader cultural platform incorporating indigenous visual arts, such as Chinese and Uyghur calligraphy, Chinese and Eastern opera face painting, and multimedia collaborations, forming a comprehensive cultural circle that enriches global awareness.By organizing regular events—including concerts, lecture-recitals, workshops, academic talks, and conferences spanning various aspects of global art and music—ABBI aims to create an interdisciplinary, intercultural communication space. From art songs to opera theatres, from vocal performances to instrumental showcases, and from stage to visual arts, ABBI celebrates the idea that art knows no boundaries, and can only survive and thrive when intercultural communication flourishes.
