I have facilitated workshops as part of larger projects within schools for employers such as the NHS, Glasgow Life and East Ayrshire Council. Other projects have taken place in community gardens and public events. The theme of projects varies and has included sustainability, gender equality and celebrating ethnic diversity.In addition to working for employers, I have also organised my own courses and classes independently. These included a children’s arts and crafts class, life drawing classes, six-week courses in printmaking and six-week courses in painting and drawing.I am passionate about teaching others to embrace their own creativity and believe in art as a vehicle towards greater self-expression, reduced stress and improved confidence. This role also involves the installation of arts and crafts items made by community groups - in public spaces.
