Who are we?Authentic Storytellers is a screenwriting workshop grounded in diasporic and indigenous storytelling modalities. Our sessions aim to explore ways of tapping into somatic modalities including dreams, non linear time, collective traditions and personal experiences to expand the imagination, craft original narratives and liberate the storytelling medium for all. Previous participants have come from a range of countries, including the UK, Belgium, and Germany. Our 2022 alumni Toyin Taiwo's workshop script 'Three Women', was selected as the finalist for the Dubai International Cineverse Screenplay Awards. We look forward to journeying with you down your own unique storytelling path.
