We are KeepaBeat (Kids) Hertfordshire. We are based in Ware but cover the whole of the county.Our passion is to teach anyone and everyone about lifesaving skills. You are never to young to learn!We have a range of courses to suit all ages. Dinky Medic sessions are for children aged 2-5 years old, Junior Medic sessions are for children aged 6 - 11 years old and we have sessions for parents and carers too.Dinky Medics - One of the best ways to help young children cope with a visit to the doctors is to introduce them to the equipment, uniform and procedures through play. Each session introduces them to new topics in a fun but safe way.Junior Medics - Children are the lifesavers of the future. We have designed a program that teaches them in a hands on, engaging way. Come and meet the “KeepaBeats” a bunch of robots with life saving skills that are on hand to teach all the key aspects of life saving. Squirt teaches them all about bleeding, Burnie teaches the key skills around burns and scalds and Sugar has a lot to say about diabetes. Want to meet more? Join us for a family session and help us train the lifesavers of tomorrow!Parent & Carers - We have two sessions for anyone that looks after a young child or baby. The First Aid For Parents & Carers is our award winning 2 hour session. This session covers baby CPR, child CPR, baby choking, child choking, recovery positions, dealing with childhood illness, temperatures, febrile convulsions, head bumps, croup, meningitis and sepsis.First Aid For Weaning is the perfect session for anyone that is getting ready to start the weaning journey. Everything you need to know in one session. Do you know the difference between gagging and choking? Or what to do if a baby was to choke?
