BeaconLit is in its seventh year and is continuing to grow.  Run and staffed entirely by volunteers, its two main aims are: to nurture reading and writing in and around the Beacon Villages; and to support theBeacon Villages Community Library. The festival has been praised by audiences and participants alike for its unique friendly, intimate 'village' atmosphere and the array of stars from the literary world that come to take part.
