We've been teaching beginner classes in local breweries since 2011. In the past 12 years, we've taught this class in 18 states to over 15,000 people. In our 2 hour beginner class, our chef will serve you a snack as you arrive. Then we'll teach you how to make perfect sushi rice, how to make all of the sushi sauces that you love (from eel sauce to Bang Bang), teach you where to shop and what to buy as well as how to buy, handle and prepare raw fish at home safely (in accordance with health department guidelines). After the hour long lecture portion of class, we'll all make a crabstick *and cucumber sushi roll together. You'll then have your roll cut by our instructor and you can taste test and use any/all of the sauces we learned about to decorate your roll and make it look amazing for your social media post!
