Rose Center & Council for the Arts serves East Tennessee, promoting the Arts, artists, and the creative economy. Rose Center is housed in historic Rose School in the heart of Morristown TN. The "Castle" served as a school from 1892-1975, and is now a nonprofit museum and cultural center, with a history museum, professional art gallery, a Local Artists Shoppe, classes in arts and healthy lifestyles for all ages, concerts, special events, rental facilities, and its largest event, Mountain Makins Festival in October.
