Liberation Endured is an independent Black-owned film studio dedicated to telling stories that reflect the complexity, beauty, and truth of Black life. Founded by filmmaker and community advocate Kenneth Adams, the studio was born from a deep need to share the stories that often go unheard—but never go unfelt. The first film, Blend: On Being Black in Bend, offered an honest look into the experiences of Black Central Oregonians navigating identity, belonging, and visibility in a place that rarely sees them. The next project, My Friend Dalton, will explore the life and legacy of Dr. Dalton Miller-Jones—an educator, mentor, and voice of transformative leadership whose impact ripples far beyond the classroom.Looking ahead, Under African Skies will be a multi-part journey across the African continent, reconnecting lineage through land, language, and lived experience.Liberation Endured exists to honor the past, witness the present, and imagine what’s possible. This work is about truth, community, and storytelling that makes space—not just for reflection, but for return.
