Blue Mountains Association of Cultural Heritage Organisations Incorporated (BMACHO), was established in April 2006 after local historical and heritage societies and individuals recognised the need for the creation of a cultural heritage strategy for the local government area (LGA) of Blue Mountains City Council. The constituency now embraces, but is not limited to, the LGAs of Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury and Penrith.Acknowledgement of Country : BMACHO acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
