Welcome to Board Gaymes Liverpool! Our mission is to build community and resilience for queer and trans folks in Liverpool and the Merseyside area. The hostility of the UK government and media towards trans people can feel isolating and scary to deal with, so we're combatting this by providing a safe, friendly and accessible space for queer people to connect and build strong connections with each other.About UsWe're a trans-led grassroots organisation that started running events in September 2023, responding to Trans Pride Liverpool's call for the community to host their own DIY satelitte events. We picked a board games night, as games provide the perfect way to break the ice between strangers, and we wanted an excuse to share our love of board games with other queer people. Our first event was a huge success, and we had so much positive feedback that we decided to run a Christmas event, and then we just couldn't stop hosting them.Our team consists of Daryl (they/them), Ripley (they/them) and Farrin (they/them). We're all Liverpool based, and happy to answer any questions or concerns.
