Ceri Baker (she/her) has been performing and developing poetry for the last 5 years. She's won multiple slam’s including the WOMAD slam and recently the Lyra Festival South West Show Down slam (on team Spork Poetry). During 2024 Ceri is performing at Buddhafields, WOMAD and Shambala festivals this year.Ceri's work always begins from a place of connection, humour and pulling people in through relatable life shiz. She explore's wide yet intricate topics of grief, parenting, woman, growth, clinical negligence, parity in healthcare, equality/inequality, neurodiversity, menopause, and the creative opportunities we find in all of those transitions.Ceri has many other engaging life roles including being a mother to 3 teenagers, a neurodiveristy specialist (SP Dyslexia, ADHD ASC) and Yogi.Ceri is the Current Bard of Exeter 2024- 2025Ceri is a creative facilitator currently devising facilitation work using yoga inspired movement and writing in her 'Body Writes' series and working on a future project run by Chris White at Exeter for 'Dying Matters' week 2025.
