Mission:To transform the lives of the youth and young women within the community by eliminating barriers to opportunity by providing viable resources, support, guidance services and programs.Vision:To give youth and young women within the Community an “Extreme Makeover” from the inside out in an environment conducive for healing, restoration and elevation through education.Our Why:The Transformation Life and Event Center was created because of the understanding of trauma and its extraordinary impact it has on the lives of individuals that our Founder, Senithia H. Martin gained through her own personal traumatic life experiences and subsequent participation in Small Group Healing sessions and counseling.Mrs. Martin not only gained an in depth understanding of trauma, healing and counseling but also the impact it has on an individual’s natural quality of life, emotional and mental health. Mrs. Martin realizes that trauma has a direct, negative impact on behavior to include decision making and the ability to have healthy relationships of any type. Therefore, almost every major area of an individual’s life is hindered from reaching its maximum, divine potential.Mrs. Martin understands with the far-reaching impact trauma has on individuals that in order to provide a permanent, sustainable solution there must be a wholistic approach of healing and restoration.
