2024-2025 SeasonThe 2024-2025 season promises a diverse and exciting array of performances, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Mississippi and beyond. The season kicks off with So in Love, a romantic Valentine's Day concert featuring Allison Jenkins and the Tyler Kemp Jazz Trio, followed by a vibrant auction to benefit local artists. March brings the inaugural Mississippi Musicians Month, honoring the legendary artists who shaped the state’s musical identity, followed by Highlights from the Great American Songbook II, with Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson performing timeless Broadway and Hollywood hits.The season continues with Songs of the South, a captivating celebration of Southern composers and songs, and the electrifying BB, King of the Mississippi Blues, a centennial celebration of the legendary B.B. King starring Vasti Jackson. May brings a touch of opera and musical theatre with Mozart's The Magic Flute, a thrilling performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 4, and an enchanting Slavic serenade by the Szlubowska-Belsky Duo. The season closes with two unforgettable performances: a special lecture on Patsy Cline by Ellis Nassour, and a tribute concert to Whitney Houston, Always Love You, marking the 40th anniversary of her iconic debut album.Each event promises to deliver magical moments of music, art, and heartfelt storytelling.
