Shirralee, the founder, has 28 years experience working in Mental Health in a number of countries from the UK to Australia, originally qualifying as a UK Probation Officer in 1997. She has long been an advocate for mental health awareness, initially working in prisons with people who had complex presentations.Moving to Hong Kong in July 2015, Shirralee quickly became aware of the limited mental health awareness at the time. Whilst employed at an renowned international school in Hong Kong as a lead counsellor. She qualified as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor (international accredited programme delivered in over 25 countries). Working occasional weekends on a HK sideline visa to assess the interest and has since delivered Mental Health First Aid training to close to 1,000 participants. The data is currently being evaluated and will be available within a few months. However, what we can share is that over 99% of participants would recommend our courses with Shirralee as the instructor.Shirralee is a Principal Master Instructor (MHFA International) & Master Instructor (Mental Health Association of Hong Kong)Positive Wellbeing Limited offers an extensive range of different wellbeing and mental health awareness courses available for individuals, schools & organisations.
