Dr Claire Moran has over 25 years teaching experience, delivered numerous lectures and international presentations on qualitative research and developed and facilitated workshops in qualitative research and thematic analysis at universities in Australia and internationally. Claire has a PhD in Health Psychology from the University of Queensland (UQ) and was awarded the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Research Higher Degree Thesis for this body of work. Claire has published widely on a range of qualitative methods (including thematic analysis, discourse analysis and multi-modal critical discourse analysis) across, social science, education and biomedical journals. Claire presents, facilitates, and consults on a range of areas includingqualitative research methods, gender, sexuality, sexual consent, and domestic violence. Claire also lecturers in domestic violence at Queensland University of Technology and holds an Honorary Research Fellow position at UQ.
