Hi! I’m Dominique. I am Social Worker (MSW) and am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). I am also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. (OASW). I received my Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Carleton University and my Bachelor and Masters of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. My background is in geriatrics and dementia, however, after my personal experience with breast cancer and then menopause, I began to notice a lack of specialized counselling services for this population and decided to launch my own practice to fill this gap, Brisqette Counselling ServicesAt Brisqette, I am dedicated to providing individualized counselling services designed specifically for peri-menopausal and menopausal women (or anyone identifying as a woman). Therapy sessions are tailored to address the unique challenges and experiences faced during this stage of life, ensuring a supportive and understanding environment for personal growth and healing.
