The National Black MBA Association was conceived in 1970 at the University of Chicago to help black professionals coming into the corporate sector share experiences and insights to help make the journey easier. By nurturing these new professionals, the organization helped early members navigate and succeed in unfamiliar and frequently challenging environments.
