Calle Libre is a non-governmental, community-driven initiative fueled by heart, dedication, and belief that art belongs in public space — for everyone! We see streets as a free and open canvas. Public space belongs to the people, and street art is a powerful way to reclaim it — sparking dialogue, strengthening community, and making art truly accessible. Founded in 2014, Calle Libre is a festival for urban aesthetics that brings together today’s contemporary forms of graffiti and other forms of street art onto curated walls throughout the city.We are a young team of creatives from diverse backgrounds. What drives us is the common love for street art and the overarching goal to encourage a dialogue between the public and the artists through artistic interventions. We want cultural perspectives, personal opinions and artistic views to be expressed freely and proudly.
