E4:14 Circle of Women Warriors (Facebook page)This organization was created to make a difference in the lives of women who have been affected by ALL types of cancers. Our founder noticed that during her fight, one of the factors of the fight that was the loudest, was the loneliness. Cancer can single out and alienate a person, making them feel as if they are all alone. The vision of this organization is for women in Auburn/Opelika (eventually further) to be empowered by the sisterhood shared with other survivors/thrivers, to give them a platform and a voice within the community, to be a center of resources, and to become an infinite circle of women who not just fight and survive but thrive! Cancer does not have to define us. This group was founded as a tribute/homage in honor of those who we have lost and in encouragement of those of us who fight on.What Do We Offer the Cancer Community?• Monthly women warrior meet-up sessions• Community Outreach/Advocacy Events• Social opportunities• Safe space and community for encouragement & support
