Doug Bohmhas a long history in the Colorado music scene, dating back to 1993 when on tour with a Chicago funk band that played 7 shows throughout the state enticing him to move here. Prior to this he was an electrician in the Navy and performed on 5 albums with his first band, at the same time!He ran a recording studio where he acted as producer and engineer, started a non-profit environmental org producing live events,Bands for Lands, which brought him into Longmont and Boulder County on many projects with the many bands and promoters in the area.While maintaining autonomy as a freelance promoter, he has booked and marketed a few hundred shows before joining the nightclub hospitality group,CoClubs/South of Colfax Nightlife District where he was the Marketing Director for 8 venues, 25 rooms and patios, as well as performing talent buying duties for everything from jazz, experimental, hard rock, reggae, soul, hiphop, and world music to dance DJs & electronic artists amounting in the thousands of shows during his time there.He has built a wide resource of connections to achieve the missions and goals ofDBOM EVENTSwith a deep passion for "greening the scene" with a goal of achieving net zero/clean events & festivals by 2035, and bringing people together.
