The story of MMAF:In 2004, two families arrived in the city of Montreal, Canada: Javier Martínez and his wife Isabel Chun, and Mario Pérez, a single father with his son Pepe Pérez.Various volunteer organizations helped them integrate into Canadian society. In their conversations, these new immigrants promised to create a foundation through which they could give back some of what they had received from these wonderful people and organizations. Thus, the idea of the Multicultural Media Annual Foundation (MMAF) was born.MMAF was created in 2013 with the aim of using art to promote new artists and art itself, while fighting for a more just and inclusive society.
