Churchgate Sinfonia was founded in 1991 and is based in the market town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We are a chamber orchestra comprising current and former professional musicians and teachers, as well as amateur instrumentalists who perform to a high standard. All performers and conductors give their time for free and all money other than that needed to pay for the running costs of concerts is donated to local charities.Churchgate Sinfonia usually puts on three concerts a year in West Suffolk.
