The Cops n' Cruiser Car Show started in the year 2009.  Robert Rosenberg who was the Explorer Captain and is now currently employed with the Simi Valley Police Department had the idea of going to Washington DC as that years career exposure trip.  The Explorer Program was trying to figure out a way to raise enough money to go on this said trip.  Thus, the Cops N' Cruiser Car Show was born and has continued through the present day as the main fundraising event for the Police Explorer Program.
