The Canadian Oilfield Riders Association was founded and established in 1988. The Canadian Oilfield Riders (COR) host an annual event whichinvites participants to ride their motorcycles and fundraise to support select charities. The organization is managed by several volunteer committeemembers. From 1988 to 2022 the COR donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Children‘s Wish / Make A Wish Foundation. In 2023 thecommittee made a change to support the Alberta Children‘s Hospital with the first donation exceeding thirty thousand dollars.
