Kristi Holohan is a Finnish American artist, and organizer based in Oakland, California. Her work in visual Arts focuses on community, healing, resource-sharing, nature, and advocacy for an equitable society through incorporative collaboration. She practices with a lens of oppression/liberation framework through radical mindful inclusion and Restorative Practices.Holohan has collaborated with hundreds of organizations, companies and municipalities including, SFMOMA, OMCA, Social and Public Art Resource Center LA, the City of Oakland, a number of Schools and Higher Education Institutions, Rock Paper Scissors Collective where she assisted in the early growth of Oakland’s First Friday and Art Murmur. Her work in visual Arts is in private and municipal collections. Holohan’s dedication to engagement and social practice is locally and nationally recognized for significance in intensive community incorporation, cultural relevance, inclusivity and accessibility.
