Atria Hall is a completely restored neoclassical, 2 story building that was built in the late 1800s. Both floors are approximately 2000 square feet, have the original tin ceilings, wood floors, plastered walls with exposed brick, period lighting. There is relevance in why I’ve chosen the name Atria it’s the plural form of atrium. Centrally located in the “heart” of downtown and having a “skylight” in the center of upstairs. “Atria” Hall made perfect sense.Originally built as a general store it was one-third of the United States Hotel, along with the two buildings to the left on Fulton Street. Right across the street from the Edgerton train depot, the location was convenient not just for travelers but, for salesman. They would haul samples of all sorts to every general store along the train route. Upon arrival they would set up displays for the owner and customers, place orders, sleep on a cot overnight, pack up and board the train the next day. This history is significant, since my fire inspection wouldn’t have passed. Upstairs doesn’t have a second exit and never did. Guests are allowed to sleep upstairs today because those salesmen slept upstairs 130 years ago. The Grandfather Clause” which is where the old rule applies to the new rule in all future cases went into effect the fire department had to approve sleeping quarters upstairsAtria Hall has custom rental options. Rented out in its entirety or as a single floor for photoshoots, corporate retreats, reunions, showers or small weddings and receptions.Upstairs at AH is available to sleep in as part of an event booking or reserve through VRBO.https://www.vrbo.com/4042660?referrerId=HOT.HIS.Share.Landed.Copy_LinkEquipped with a full kitchen and luxurious full bath, it comfortably accommodates six guests. There are two queen Murphy beds which conveniently pull out of wall, and a King size sofa sleeper! Antique chandeliers, original wood floors, pressed tin ceilings, glorious lighting, fully restored~ it’s gorgeous. The lower level is also wide open, its authentic feature is its massive oak staircase with a custom built book alcove underneath. Since the space holds all types of events I supply tables, chairs, sound system, drink coolers and dispensers. The client has option to hire vendors or bring in their own food and decor.Currently my other business Kollective Specialty Rentals is housed in Atria Hall. This company carries a vast inventory of vintage furniture, lighting, props and decor from different decades. Purposefully created groupings are displayed with the intention for clients to experience their chosen rentals first hand not just a website.A large sampling of inventory is available to see and use in our vintage lounge/tea house on the lower level of Atria Hall.We are open to the public as Tea & Tavern, we schedule live music, parties, host OPEN mics and other fabulous events! Hours and dates vary so please check website and socials. The place looks amazing with all these eclectic groupings that look like small movie sets. Atria Hall needs profitable business to be open to during weekdays and weekends so this is what we’ve chosen to do. The furniture KSR is selected to use seasonally, or for a specific public event. This 140 year old building named Atria Hall is perfect for creative and multigenerational experiences. It’s a place where a single person can anticipate showing up, even if it’s to sit in their favorite chair during our Tea & Tavern hours.I would like every visit to be filled with human interaction, good music and appreciation of times past.
