Hello! My name is Anna Marie, the owner and creator and also one of the creatives of Anna Marie Creative Collective, a local handmade boutique in Historic Downtown Snohomish. I specialize in crocheting clothing, accessories and home decors also hand knit products like the chunky knit blankets. I love the chunky yarn and i make all sort of fun and unique products out of it and i’m excited to share my creativity to the community through hosting and leading different kind of workshops for all ages. Creating is my passion and I feel blessed to also have this as my full time job now. Since i was little I enjoyed making crafts using anything I resource from our yard or our neighbors in the Philippines. My elementary school teachers encouraged me well to be creative through offering different kinds of arts and crafts activities.First and foremost, I am a proud mom of my 3 wonderful children. When i became a mom i developed my creative confidence more in organizing and creating birthday parties and art and craft times with my kids and their friends. I also enjoyed volunteering at my two sons schools as an art docent starting when they were in preschool to 5th grade. We have attended mommy and me, music, gym, ballet, community mom’s group, MOPS classes, AWANA, scouting and different sports from basketball to baseball and taekwondo. I have always been surrounded with kids and active in volunteering.Three years ago i decided to focus and give more time to my craft and joined the craft fair at my son's school. That was when I started embracing my sparks and pursued to take my creativity to next the next level. I joined several craft markets, rented a booth inside vintage marketpalces and consigned my products to different retail stores in California.Until last summer, almost a year when we moved here, I was blessed to have this little tiny shop in downtown Snohomish and it became the local handmade boutique. We just recently moved to a bigger shop from our tiny little shop in Snohomish and it’s been wonderful to be able to have more room for more makers and artists and small businesses around Washington and different states as well to showcase their amazing products in Snohomish. Furthermore, we are so happy that we have this creative space now to offer to the public to gather, connect, learn new skills and have some fun time with their friends and family. This space will open up a lot of oppurtunities not only for me but for many local creatives, artists and makers who have been looking and needing for a space to teach and share their creativity. We plan to do different arts and crafts classes and workshop and possibly host parties as well.
