Green Top Grocery opened in 2017 after five years of community organizing. As a cooperatively-owned, independent grocery store, we have over 2600 owners (and growing!) and we are always open to everyone — you do not need to be an owner to shop or participate in our events. We have no CEO, no shareholders... just local people who joined together to create a grocery store that does things a little differently from corporate-owned stores! Our priorities as a cooperative are to support our local food system and farmers, keep money circulating in our local economy, and prioritize people over profit. We invite you to see what a difference a co-op grocery can mean to a community!
