The Society promotes Italian culture and language around the world, with chapters in 60 countries .The Charleston chapter was founded in 2017 by Donatella della Porta. Frequent events are held in various Charleston venues, featuring Italian art, history, design, cuisine, music, scientific research, and language. Italian language instruction is also available.
